Yesterday was a wonderful day! Corban took a really good nap and I got a few chores done, then because it was so pretty, Johnny, Corban and I tried to take our lunch outside for a picnic. The Schwan's man and a neighbor kind of interrupted, but at least we were able to be outside for a few minutes! Corban and I babysat and then he went down for another nap before I had to go pick Nina up at the end of her dance class. As soon as I got back, Johnny and I headed for our Bible study. The Fitzroy's daughter-in-law came with them, so I was glad to be able to catch up on her pregnancy and to see how Jim is getting settled in - He left for Korea Easter Sunday morning.
This morning has been pretty busy though. Corban woke up early and Johnny and I were both getting ready to go out. Johnny is taking Luke to Cabelas in Wheeling, WV to get him outfitted to flyfish and Corban and I went to MOPS. This is the second time in a row that they have had to bring him to me out of the nursery - he's usually so good for other people, I don't know what the deal is. He fell asleep in the car on the way home though, and of course wouldn't go back to sleep when we got home. Needless to say, he's been a bit of a bear then since we've been home.
This afternoon should be busy too, babysitting and coming home to make dinner, but tomorrow looks to be completey empty - a day at home to catch up on chores and just hang out at home!
Caden says "Hi." He has definitely gotten much more active in the last week or so and I have gotten much bigger! I'm actually feeling pregnant again and remembering all of the things that were so hard in the end. I'm just thankful that when I'm really big it will be warm outside so that I can wear sandals and won't need Johnny to put my socks and shoes on for me.

Couch Potato in Training?
OK, so this actually happend last week, but I wasn't a "blogger" then and I can't pass up telling everyone about it. Wednesday morning I was doing some stuff at the computer and Corban was playing in the doorway between the office and the living room. A few minutes later he crawled in here and gave me the TV remote. I didn't think anything about it, and we went on with our business. A little while later, Johnny had Corban in the living room changing his diaper while I was getting breakfast together in the kitchen and Johnny asked if I had ordered Nancy Drew on PPV. I hadn't - and it took us a while to realize why it was on - it wasn't one of those free channels, it was an honest to goodness pay-per-view movie. You guessed it though - Corban had been playing with the remote and somehow had hit all of the right buttons to order a movie on PPV. I thought about calling Dish to see if we could get out of paying for it, but we just taped it and watched it later - just so you know, it's as corny as you would think it would be.
Other than that, life has been uneventful. Yesterday we babysat, which I don't usually do on Tuesday. It was a hard day b/c we were there all afternoon and Corban needed a nap, but there was no putting him to sleep there. Of course, he fell asleep two minutes from home though. We got him in asleep and we were able to eat dinner before he woke up and needed his dinner and a bath. We're having the worst time switching him to table food. Any other mommies have suggestions? We are still working on stairs too, but he's getting the hang of that one, at least going up.
Hey Kim - Corban and Caden, do they pass the test? :)

Yesterday when I got home from work, Johnny had Corban outside on the porch for a few minutes. When they came back in and Johnny shut the door, Corban FREAKED. The poor boy has got to be tired of being cooped up in the house all of the time. So, we bundled him up and took him for a walk. That little boy loves the cold air! His cheeks and nose were so pink after a few minutes, but he was giggling and smiling the whole time. I can't wait for warm weather so that we can go outside more often. Our friends have a heated pool that I'm really looking forward to for this summer. I think we'll both enjoy the relief of a pool without that horrible shock of the cold water.
Right now I am paying bills while Johnny entertains Corban for a few minutes before Corban and I leave for work. Johnny finally got Corban to climb the stairs by himself! We need to be working hard on that skill because it won't be long before I physically can't carry him up and down by myself. I dread when the time comes that I can't really pick him up and cuddle him because of my huge belly!

Bandwagon
OK, since I am completely addicted to everyone else's blogs, I figure I may as well jump on the bandwagon and create one of my own. Plus, I completely agree with Sherry that I can probably do this better than keeping a baby book for Corban - and eventually Caden! So, even though it feels like nothing really happens in our lives and I will probably bore everyone else out there, at least I'll have it for "posterity." And, you can't comment on other people's blogs unless you use google, which I didn't until now - and I must have the privilege of doing that if I so choose!
So anyway, enjoy!
